One of the best salons I've been to. For being in downtown Charleston, it was surprisingly the perfect private setting that allows you to truly relax without the chaos of your average salon. Brie was my stylist and although she is known as @beachy.blondes on Instagram, she totally killed it with my dark all over hair color, styling and cut!! I'm obsessed and will definitely be back. Would recommend her to literally anyone. I'll also say I got very sick last year and lost a lot of my hair and was very nervous to go to a new salon after getting my hair done by the same person in Alabama for six years, but Brie and the relaxed salon environment itself made me totally comfortable. Thank you Brie and Salon Borne for a great experience from start to finish!!

"I will definitely be back!" Had a last minute need for a color correction, I had a terrible experience with another stylist and wanted to have it corrected before seeing family. Brie Gabny was very accommodating and made me an appointment for a Friday afternoon. Brie was very nice and professional, putting my worries at ease. She didn’t rush through the color, she took her time and paid close attention to detail with her highlight techniques, ensuring proper placement and coverage. She even went back in and added a few foils because she “didn’t like the way it fell.” This I really appreciated, time and time again I have had hair stylists try and cover something up or tell me they Will just correct it next time. Brie is truly a perfectionist! For a blonde that can be a little picky and notices the little details, I can honestly say I left happy and felt I was in good hands. I will definitely be back!

I was drawn to Borne due to their transparent pricing. I used to dread the end of hair appts when I found out just how much they were charging me, plus having to tip 20%. Today I got lived-in blonde coloring with Brie. She is not only a great, welcoming person, but also extremely meticulous and very talented. She truly cares about her clients and loves what she does. Borne is in a beautiful part of downtown located inside a historic Charleston building. It was a pleasure.
